Volt is immediately hiring for a Project Construction Manager in Monticello, Arkansas. In this role you will perform the role of construction manager during periods of heavy construction or light construction and demolition activities
This is a first shift position
As a Project Construction Manager you will :
- Give direction to and actively monitor construction crews so that the work is done, Safely; Per the project plan; In the correct sequence; In a cost-effective and quality manner
- Perform safety and housekeeping audits.
- Lead construction meetings with mill support groups to work through the 2-4 week outlooks for all weekend and weekday schedules.
- Acts as onsite General, managing all building permit inspections and liaison between multiple trades : Mechanical, Welding, Carpentry, Electrical, Pipefitters and others
- Coordination with Project Team and Engineering To attend meetings and address any follow-up identified Lead construction meetings with mill support groups to work through the 2-4 week outlooks for all weekend and weekday schedules.
- Lead Field Inspections with Engineering, and Contractors Learning and Following Site Specific Safety Systems that apply to work done onsite (Safe Practices, Incident Investigations, etc…)
