QA Inspector II

VOLT is hiring immediately for a Quality Inspector II  in Redmond, Washington.

Shift : 2nd shift Mon-Thurs 3p-1 : 30am   (10hr shift, 4 days a week)

The QA Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the company’s quality management system (QMS) and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

As a Quality Inspector you will :

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of products using standard measuring tools, as well as advanced measuring instruments and techniques.
• Document inspection results, complete inspection reports, and maintain records according to company and regulatory standards.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and products.
• Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues (e.g. NCR) under the guidance of senior inspectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in data collection for analysis of inspection methods (e.g. GR&R).
• Conduct QC Inspector training for SOPs and tools for select products and processes.
• Execute complex inspections, including first-article and pre-shipment reviews, using sophisticated measuring equipment with guidance from senior inspector.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
• Support internal and external audits, as necessary.
• Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Pay Rate : $22.00 – 27.00 / hour
