Volt is immediately hiring for Manufacturing Quality Engineer, in El Paso, TX
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for :
- Implement and sustain Lean and Six Sigma concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams and other functional departments.
- Develop manufacturing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and identify opportunities for improving tooling and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest methods and technologies and assess their relevance within our manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Monitor and report key metrics and devise improvement plans.
- Participate in and lead continual improvement activities such as 5S, SPS, Six Sigma, and ISO to enhance the quality system.
- Ensure timely completion of action items from SPS and ISO audits.
- Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems.
- Contribute to and lead Digital Quality implementation within the plant.
- Prepare Pareto charts and 8D reports as necessary.
- Contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction and achieving quality goals through project and process implementation.
