Quality Inspector

Volt is immediately hiring for  Quality Inspector  for a leading Manufacturing Company in Poway Ca .

As a  Quality Inspector  you will :

• Reviews job documentation for Machining and Sheet Metal Operations, ensuring previous steps are completed correctly.
• Resolves documentation issues before sending products to Shipping.
• Determines sample size based on customer needs, risks, lessons learned, and company procedures
• Conducts visual and some mechanical inspections of products using appropriate tools.
• Performs complex dimensional inspections as part of the Dimensional Inspection department.
• Uses inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and “Go / No-Go” gages.
• Decides whether to accept or reject products based on inspection results, documenting any non-conformances
• Collaborates with production operators and leaders to identify rejection causes and suggest corrective actions
• Maintains personal safety and keeps the work area clean and orderly.
• Suggests ways to improve department processes for better quality and efficiency.
• Identifies and reports risks related to processes, products, procedures, people, infrastructure, or the environment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

This is a Full-Time 6 month  Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have :

Schedule :  Monday to Friday 6am to 2 : 30pm

Pay Rate :  $22-23 per hour
