THIS IS A FULLTIME DIRECT HIRE POSITION

As a Tool & Die Mold Maker you will

• Tool & Die position is integral to continued success and part of our team providing strategic alignment with our customers and stake holders. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on creative craftsman seeking a permanent position in our dynamic field
• team of skilled tool and die makers belong to a company dedicated to success and hard work. As a tool and die maker with us, you will get to use blueprints to determine project specifications, set up and operate machine tools, finish and adjust parts, and test tools to ensure quality standards are met. You will also get to make use of your outstanding mechanical and mathematical skills while crafting molds, tools and dies. This position is excellent for anyone with exceptional technical expertise and a positive, team-oriented attitude looking to work for a company where they can grow and hone their skills.

The ideal Tool & Die Mold Maker candidate will have :

• Used sketches, blueprints, specifications and models to plan operations for the fabrication of dies, tools and assemblies, ensuring safety and maximum efficiency
• Verified dimensions of finished parts to ensure they conform to specifications using dial indicators, gauge blocks, calipers and micrometers
• Utilized hand and machine tools to assemble parts of tools and dies and to repair and modify gauges, jigs and dies
• Designed templates and jigs to be used as work aids for convenient fabrication of products and parts
• Inspected completed tools and dies for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality
• Repairs dies, molds, and tools when needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then reassembles when repaired
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on tools, manually operated dies and progressive dies
• Interface with external and internal customers, handle supplier and customer concerns, and work with team members to solve problems during the production process
• File and finish workpieces using the appropriate hand tools to ensure products are smooth and that they fit together properly
• Select the appropriate metals and materials to be used based on properties, ensuring they meet project specification

Education / Experience / Job Skills and Qualifications

Required :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to stand for shift durations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Excellent visual accuracy
• building plastic injection molds

Preferred

• Completion of apprenticeship program or trade school diploma program
• Three to five years of experience in tool and die making
• Mold Building
• Injection Mold maker

Schedule :

• 8 hour 1st shift
• Monday to Friday

Pay rate : $36.00-38.00 hourly

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
