As an Accounting Clerk, you will :
Balance "Daily Cash Summery Report"
Prepare Deposits
Manage Credit Card reports from counter and employees with terminals
Generate invoices for cash, charge & cash nontaxable sales from counter.
Post Payments
Print customer aging, follow up on collection calls, and send out friendly reminders for past due customer
Manage customer credit applications and run credit reports on potential new customers
set up new customer accounts
print and mail / email monthly statements
Process customer refunds
Manage purchase orders, packing slips A / P invoices to be paid
Audit A / P invoices and send for appropriate approvals to employees
Enter A / P invoices into Sage for payment
General office duties including attending to customers on the phone and in person, filing, data entry etc.
Pay Rate : $20.00-24.00 DOE
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hr. Lunch
The ideal candidate will have the following experience :
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Accounting
Experience with Sage is a plus!!
