Volt is immediately hiring for CAD Drafter in West Chester, PA Job Roles and Responsibilities : To prepare CAD drawings using customer proprietary applications.Must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD or CAD application, strong analytical skills, and the desire to learn design methods in telecommunications.Develop drawings per client standards using IDDS / MicroStation design software.Work closely with field engineers; prepare complete engineering drawings and associated documentation in compliance with company and client policies.Incorporate engineering mark-up into drawings and work with engineers on design requirements.Convert drawings from legacy applications into IDDS / MicroStation format.This is a Full Time, Contact opportunity. Required Skills : Experience with IDDS / ICGS, MicroStation preferred but not required.Minimum experience in AutoCAD or CAD application required.Working knowledge of Windows Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.Good computer, communication and visualization skills needed to work from engineering sketches and documents.Must be detailed oriented.Experience in the Telecommunication industry is preferred.High School / Trade school graduate or equivalent. Schedule : 1st shift : 8 am – 4 : 30 pm Location : West Chester, PA Pay Rate : $17 – 18.50 / hr.
