Volt is hiring for an on-site / hybrid Capture Tech (Game Capture) in Santa Monica, CA.
As a Capture Tech (Game Capture Artist) you will :
Work alongside fellow game capture artists and collaborate with a capture director to create footage for our editing team. Focus on higher level capture work, such as Assistant Directing and managing debug systems with occasional camerawork for screenshots or video.
- Assist Capture Directors and other artists with game footage capture as a “player actor” for use in a wide range of marketing assets
- Work with various game debug systems and be the master and go to knowledge holder for these commands
- Act as an AD during shoots, keeping track of details like loadouts, character pathing, and set decorating.
- Be an expert on the technical side of builds and getting kits setup and ready for a shoot
- Troubleshoot technical issues, including builds, PC workstations, dev kits etc and communicate with game studios on issues as needed
- Perform other duties, as assigned
This is a full-time 6-month-in person-hybrid contract opportunity. Schedule : Monday and Friday are work from home. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are onsite in Santa Monica.
