Build your future with Volt Volt is immediately hiring Chemistry Lab Technician in Shakopee, MN. 55379 As a Chemistry Lab Technician, you will be responsible for : Conduct Design Verification Tests (DVT) to support new product launches. Organize and maintain labware and equipment for sensor testing and development in the chemistry lab. Manage chemicals and solutions for Research and Development (R&D) activities. Assist in studies related to sensor research and development. Upgrade and maintain data acquisition systems. Upgrade and maintain lab computer networking. Efficiently organize experiments for optimal resource utilization. Perform additional duties as assigned. These positions are temp to hire. Duration : 6 Months temp to hire position 1st Shift Monday-Friday 9 : 00 AM-6 : 00 PM, QUALIFICATIONS (Education / Training, Experience and Certifications) Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in conducting wet chemistry tests. Proven experience in maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with lab equipment and instrumentation. Strong organizational skills for managing labware, chemicals, and equipment. Knowledge of pH, conductivity, DO, ORP, ammonia, and chloride sensors is a plus. Able to collaborate in a research and development environment. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Pay Rate : $30.50-34.61 / hr.
