Volt is immediately hiring a CNC Machinist in Fairview, Oregon .
Position : CNC Machinist
Location : Fairview, Oregon
Shift : 1st Shift (Monday Thursday) 5 : 30AM 4PM
Pay : $25 - $32 per hour DOE
Bonuses : Monthly Bonus of 20% (Approximately $800 )
What We're Looking For :
- Experience : Proficiency with CNC Lathes and / or CNC Mills
- Skills : Strong understanding of CNC G & M code, blueprint reading, and machine shop mathematics. Competency in operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Education : We welcome candidates who are new graduates and eager to gain hands-on experience .
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate CNC Mills and / or Lathes machinery
- Execute and edit G & M code , with an opportunity to prove new programs.
- Perform quality checks using fixed gauges and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Suggest improvements for tooling, setups, and programs to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment , performing routine equipment maintenance.
