Volt is immediately hiring a Data Center Technician to work in Sparks, NV.

As a Data Center Technician, you will:
Assist with decommissioning computer servers, networking devices and associated equipment in a cutting-edge data center for one of the largest companies in the world. You will be responsible for removing hard drives from servers, disconnecting all cables, removing servers from racks and organizing equipment on pallets for shipping.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Familiarity with computer hardware (hard drives and ethernet cables)
- Lift 30 lbs. repeatedly
Must have- Steel toed shoes
Responsibilities include:
- General disassembly of computer servers and server racks.
- Disconnect and remove power and ethernet cables.
- Remove and wipe hard drives
- Use of powered tools such as screw drivers or drills.
- Use of scanning and data entry equipment such as computers and RF scanners.
Requirements:
- Use power tools
- Comfortable using computers and scanning equipment.
- Stand and walk for most of your shift
- Work in a team and independently as needed
This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.
Location: Sparks, Nevada 89434 - Onsite
Duration: 3 months , Contract
Work Schedule:Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $18-$20 Per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
