As an PV&V Electrification Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

As an PV&V Electrification Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Gather and format test requirements from internal and external customers with assistance from others. Review and provide proper feedback about the requirements.
- Perform and oversee, with assistance, the performance of power electronic Product Verification and Validation testing performed internally or externally.
- Employ troubleshooting and debugging strategies; determine root cause with support from others and provide support in troubleshooting.
Education:
- Minimum B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Ag Engineering, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited engineering program or equivalent.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Understanding of the basics of embedded controllers
- Understanding of safe higher voltage practices
- Understanding of motor control and system testing
- Understanding of the basics of design validation
Desired:
- Experience with product development
- Understanding of motor control software (PU2)Experience with dynos
- Experience with development and debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.)
- Experience with microcontroller peripherals and systems (e.g., PWM outputs, boot loaders, A/D converters, serial, and parallel interfaces, etc.)
- Experience with communication networks (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, RS-232/485, etc.)
- Experience with communication protocols (e.g., J1939, ISO11783, TCP/IP, etc.)
