We bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today. Volt is immediately hiring an Inventory Control in Portland, OR! As an Inventory Control you will : Performs validation / verification of all jobs against line lead paperwork.Maintains complete and accurate records using digital, as well as paper and pen, recording keeping systems as provided.Accurately records / maintains damages for each job. Operates and navigates the inventory management system to ensure traceability and accuracy of production consumptions, creation, and documentationFinalizes reconciliation of raw product, materials, labels, damages, and finished goods. Start jobs in MRP system and track all products used for the job.Track all production by lot and expiry date in order to maintain full traceability in case of a recall.Create all pallet tags for each job and make sure the line is using them correctly.Reconcile each job when finished and this includes raw product, materials, labels, damages and FG.Make sure all damages are accounted for on each job. Perform cycle counts on jobs as needed to close with less than a 5% variance.Make sure all pallets are tagged correctly.Move all old products to hold area and make move in MRP system.Take raw product inventory monthly and balance with computer system.Take month end inventory of material and balance with the Customer Service team. Review accuracy of counts and analyze any variances.Implement corrective actions to prevent counting errors in future. The ideal candidate will be : Provides customer reports as required. Performs cycle counts on jobs to close within a standard varianceTracks production by lot and expiration date to maintain full traceability.Performs other duties and assists other team members as required.Computer skills and experience working with an operating system. A high school education (or equivalent). Up to one year of transferrable internal or external work experience is required.Ability to read and follow simple instructions, short letters, and memos. Ability to write simple letters and memos. Ability to communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations.Ability to read, speak and write in English. Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred. This is a temp-to-hire position. Schedule : Day and swing shift Location : Portland, ORDuration : 08 MonthsPay Range : $18.00- $19.00 per hour
