About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to perform various manufacturing operations related to fabrication and assembly of machine tools and parts.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform precision machining and measurement tasks using computer numerical control (CNC) machines, lathes, grinders, and other specialized equipment.
- Set up and operate machinery according to blueprints, diagrams, and verbal instructions.
- Measure and inspect components to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience as a machinist or in a related field.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, materials science, and tooling.
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and metrology tools.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
