What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Volt?
Volt is immediately hiring for a Material Handler in Gardena, California.

As a Material Handler you will :
Manage inventory levels within the ERP system and accurately transact materials.
Receive, count, and verify inventory, document and scan into the system.
Maintain accurate stock levels and locations within MRP / ERP.
Perform daily cycle counts and report findings.
Kit materials for production as needed.
Package and stage finished goods for shipment.
Schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
Transport materials locally between Divergent and suppliers using a company truck.
Operate forklift, pallet jack, or scissor lift for material movement.
Maintain a clean work area and support 5S initiatives.
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have :
Experience in inventory management, kitting, and material handling.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Experience with MRP / ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
Experience with Manufacturo, JIRA (preferred).
Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or Manufacturing.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize efficiently.
Excellent communication and team-building skills.
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 1st shift (6 : 00?am – 3 : 00?pm); possible weekend Production support.
Pay Rate : 25.00 per hour
