Job Title: Noise & Vibration E-noise Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Noise & Vibration E-noise Engineer to join our team at Volt in Cupertino, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Author SOPs, test plans and specifications for low level noises.
- Quantify noises, facilitate user studies, establish thresholds in lab and factory environments.
- Educate multi-functional teams to implement known standard methodologies and run studies to learn new best practices.
- Analyze validation work to better understand root causes of various problems.
Requirements:
- Fundamental knowledge of how voltage potential and current can lead to vibration.
- Knowledge of acoustics and vibration principles and how motion of mechanical systems turns into radiated noise.
- Good understanding of magnetics and how force can be generated in a complex magnetic environment.
- Acoustic and vibration measurement skills with experience making measurements in anechoic/hemi-anechoic chambers.
- Creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
- Ability to learn new coding languages and navigate datasets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- History of high-volume consumer electronics experience.
- Experience with ultra-low-noise measurements.
- Background in electromagnetic, electrical engineering, and/or circuit design.
Role Details:
Full time, contract opportunity. 100% onsite.
Duration:12 months of contract.
Location:Cupertino, CA
Pay Rate:$50/hr. to $53.19/hr.
