What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Piping Specialist position at Volt?
Volt is seeking a highly skilled Process Piping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and installing complex process piping systems that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in pipe fitting, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. They should be able to read and interpret P&ID drawings, understand basic welding principles, and possess mechanical knowledge in plumbing.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating and designing pipelines and tubing lines on machines, determining materials needed for assembly, cutting and assembling piping using valves and tube fittings, bending and fabricating tubing lines for instruments and lubrication consoles, and installing instruments such as differential gauges, switches, and transmitters.
