What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assembly Worker position at VOLT?
We are looking for talented individuals to join our production team as Assemblers/Production Workers.
This is a temporary to hire opportunity at Volt in Hopkins, SC.
About the Job:
- You will be responsible for building and adapting chassis/cradles and circuit breakers on an assembly line.
- You will follow computer-displayed work instructions to assemble Breakers and Cradles.
- You will be responsible for routine and repetitive material handling responsibilities within the manufacturing facility.
- You will ensure correct parts are kept in the appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirements.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- You must be highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work in a team environment.
- You will be required to learn all jobs and stations within the group, rotate as needed, and be able to work within strict time constraints.
- You must be able to stand for shift duration and lift 35 lbs on a continuous basis.
- A good work/attendance record is essential.

Pay and Benefits:
- The pay range for this position is $16.00-$20.00/hour.
