Volt is immediately hiring a Direct Hire Quality Control Technician in Riverside, CA .
As a Quality Control you will :
- Perform quality inspections of products before public release. The focus is on ensuring products are following food safety regulations and internal standards.
- Will operate under good manufacturing practices (GMP) and be familiar with the HACCP system.
- Observe and report all food product deficiencies.
- Participate in conducting plant audits and third-party audits.
- Perform manual and automated quality testing, analyzing, and recording related results.
- Inspect production equipment and machinery to ensure they are operating efficiently.
- Collaborate with other production departments to ensure the production process runs smoothly.
- Inspect raw materials so ensure they meet the specifications for the shape, size, and quality.
- Enforce BRC, HACCP, SOPs and product specifications.
- Test finished products and raw materials for compliance with industry food specifications and standards.
- Manage point step process review, label and materials review, and QA approval of documentation control, line clearing, and process deviations.
- Work within a team structure to achieve PCB and Department goals.
- Be accurate when collecting product data samples.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
This is a full-time opportunity.
Monday to Friday 4 : 00 p.m. –12 : 45 a.m.
