Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector in Long Beach, California.
As a Quality Inspector you will :
Perform in-process, First Article Inspections (FAI), and final packaging inspections.
Generate detailed inspection data sheets following cGMP and QMS requirements.
Document inspections, prepare first article documentation, and compile certification packages.
Conduct product build documentation reviews and end-item data package reviews.
Generate nonconformance reports for discrepancies found during inspections.
Use conventional inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Ensure all inspection equipment is calibrated before use.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Conduct visual inspections to identify defects or non-conformities.
Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality records.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to all safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
This is a full-time Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have :
A high school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification in quality inspection is a plus).
A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong understanding of cGMP and QMS requirements.
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience generating nonconformance reports and inspection documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and data analysis.
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 1st shift (6 : 00?am – 3 : 00?pm)
Pay Rate : $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
