What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation & Custodial Services Technician position at Volt?
Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Sanitation Worker.
Position type : Full-time (Contract to Hire)
Duration : 3 Months
Location : Syracuse, NY
As a Sanitation Worker , you will be :
- Sweep and mops floors, cleans windows; cleans restrooms and fixtures; cleans and maintains lunch and break rooms.
- Strips and waxes tiled floors as required, vacuums, buffs and waxes floors.
- Replace light bulbs as needed.
- Clean offices, including dusting desks and other areas.
- Disposes of trash and operate trash compactor; disposes of cardboard and operate cardboard bailer.
- Assists in moving furniture as required or requested.
- Perform external facility work as required or requested, to include lawn work and snow removal.
- Ensures sidewalks are kept clear and snow melts is placed along the walkways to keep it safe for anyone who enters or leaves the building.
- Promotes a safe and harmonious work environment.
- Maintains compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.
