As a(n) Sr. Data Architect you will :
Position Summary : The Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy. In this role, you will focus on leveraging the organization's existing data stored across multiple applications to drive strategic decision-making, optimize operations, and improve data accessibility. You will play a critical role in developing and aligning the data architecture to meet current and future business needs while ensuring integration across systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Data Architecture Design : As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data architecture strategy. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that our data architecture supports our business goals and leverages existing data from various applications to provide meaningful insights and also industry standards, enabling us to excel in the market.
- Data Modeling : You will create and optimize data models for transactional, operational, and analytical systems. Your expertise in data modeling will ensure data consistency and reliability, enabling flawless data analysis and reporting.
- Data Integration : Designing and implementing end-to-end data integration solutions will be a key aspect of your role. You will consolidate data from various sources into a cohesive and accessible data environment, using the latest Azure modern data stack technologies.
- Data Governance : You will establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and dedication to data integrity will be crucial in maintaining a world-class data environment.
- Technology Evaluation : Constantly assessing and recommending new data technologies and tools will be part of your responsibilities. Your expertise will enhance our data infrastructure and capabilities, ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving field of data architecture.
- Collaboration : Work closely with key stakeholders, including business leaders, product teams, and technical teams, to ensure the data architecture supports business objectives. By understanding their data needs and providing technical guidance, you will ensure the seamless integration of data solutions throughout the organization.
- Performance Optimization : Monitoring and optimizing data architecture performance will be essential. You will identify and resolve any issues to ensure efficient data processing and storage, allowing us to make data-driven decisions without any bottlenecks.
- Data Quality and Integrity : Implement processes to ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity, and address issues related to data redundancy, inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Documentation : Maintaining comprehensive documentation of our data architecture, models, and processes will be a crucial part of your role. This documentation will serve as a valuable reference and training resource for our team.
- Continuous Improvement : Monitor industry trends and evolving technologies, and continuously refine the data architecture and strategy to enhance capabilities.
- Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data professionals and other team members.

Salary : $180,000 - $195,000
