What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician II position at Volt?
Volt is immediately hiring for a Vehicle technician (Electrical) in Morrisville, NC 27560
As a Vehicle technician, you will :
- Set up Dynamometers for electric motor and / or inverter testing.
- Perform inspection and test as necessary to determine cause of defective electronic assemblies with instruction.
- Rework products per company and industry standards.
- Build test harnesses, loads and circuit boards to support product design as required.
- Design and build engineering test fixtures.
Required Education :
A.S. in Electronics, a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience
Required Experience :
Minimum one year of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering is required; three or more years of related experience is preferred
Required Skills :
Shift : Monday – Friday – 1st Shift
Position Type : Full time (Contract)
Duration : 12 Months
Location : Morrisville NC 27560
Pay rate : $30 / hr. to $35 / hr.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
