We’re looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist who thrives at the intersection of science, storytelling, and data-driven marketing. In this role, you’ll take the lead in executing integrated digital campaigns that grow awareness, generate leads, and support commercial efforts across channels like email, search, social, and web. You’ll be a key contributor in a growing marketing function and work closely with Product, Sales, and Applications teams.
Day 1 To Year 1
- Develop and manage multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (email, paid search, SEO, social media, display, retargeting, etc.)
- Create compelling content for website, landing pages, email nurtures, and social posts that resonate with life sciences audiences
- Own campaign execution, tracking, optimization, and reporting—driving measurable outcomes such as MQLs and pipeline contributions
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and external vendors to produce digital assets and update website content (WordPress or similar)
- Optimize web performance and user journeys with A/B testing and SEO best practices
- Manage and improve marketing automation workflows and lead scoring in HubSpot
- Support virtual and in-person event promotions (e.g., conferences, webinars, product launches)
- Stay current on industry trends and digital tools to identify new growth opportunities

Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in B2B digital marketing, ideally in life sciences, biotech, diagnostics, or a related technical field
- Proven experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred), Google Analytics, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
- Strong writing skills and ability to tailor content to scientific and non-scientific audiences
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with cross-functional collaboration
- Self-starter with strong project management skills and a bias toward execution
- Bonus: Familiarity with hybrid capture, genomics workflows, or clinical lab environments
- Travel Requirement: Willing to travel approximately 30%, including 1–2 visits per quarter to Volta HQ, as well as travel for customer meetings and industry events.
