Location : You will lead our technical activities on-site at our Broomfield, Colorado facility.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead all engineering activities in the U.S. including the hiring and managing of the U.S. team
- Immediately assume the role as Program Manager for a well-funded USG program critical to the success of the company
- Lead the development, allocation, and maintenance of :
o Technical budgets for system performance
o System requirements and verification techniques
o Simulations and analysis across vehicle functions
o Test methods and data analysis
Required Qualifications / Education :
o High-accuracy attitude determination and control (ADCS), thermal control, electrical power systems (EPS)
o High-accuracy, high-power optical payloads
o Business development, mission formulation, requirements development and flow-down
integration, test and verification, on-orbit operations including ground systems
o Mission design to bus procurement, payload qualification and acceptance, spacecraft integration and testing, launch and commissioning, and operations; large plus for lunar experience, particularly lunar constellations
o Procurement of a satellite from a third party, negotiating solutions, implementation plans, and contractual obligations
o Reliability analysis of space systems and payloads, better if lunar
o Establishing engineering procedures for rapid product design, manufacturing, testing and integration
o Experience in payload AI&T (Assembly, Integration and Testing), better if on optical payloads; plus if lunar
o MATLAB, Python, STK and JAMA or DOORS. Mechanical CAD a plus
