Candidate will be working as a loss prevention associate during stores off-hours.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

The Overnight Security Attendant is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safety and security of the store and/or event premises during off-hours. Their primary duties include but are not limited to:

1. Surveillance & Monitoring

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity.
• Ensure all access points, including doors, gates, and storage areas, remain secure throughout the night.

2. Incident Response & Reporting

• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or unusual activity.
• Contact law enforcement or emergency services as needed in case of security breaches, trespassing, or other incidents.
• Document any security-related occurrences in a nightly report for management review.

3. Customer & Vendor Interaction

• Politely address and direct any late-night visitors, vendors, or employees with proper authorization.
• Enforce store/event policies regarding restricted access areas.

4. Property Maintenance & Safety Checks

• Conduct routine inspections of outdoor displays, inventory, and equipment to ensure everything remains intact.
• Identify and report any safety hazards, including fire risks, tripping hazards, or structural concerns.
• Ensure proper lighting and visibility around the premises.

5. Emergency Preparedness

• Familiarize themselves with emergency protocols, including fire evacuation procedures and first-aid responses.
• Act as the first point of contact in case of an emergency until further assistance arrives.

6. Communication & Coordination

• Maintain open communication with store/event management regarding any security concerns.
• Provide a detailed shift report at the end of each night summarizing activities, inspections, and any notable incidents.

7. Compliance & Professionalism

• Follow all company policies regarding security and safety protocols.
• Conduct themselves professionally, representing the company with integrity and diligence.

This role requires dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to stay alert during overnight shifts to ensure the safety and security of the store.

Schedule:

• Wednesday-Saturday, 7:00pm-7:00am
• Four 12 hours shifts

Pay:

• $20/hr with pay raises as competency and business grows.
