What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Manager position at Voltage Park Inc?
We are seeking a talented IT Manager to lead the foundation of our IT operations. This is a unique opportunity for a driven and experienced professional to establish and grow our IT infrastructure from the ground up.
Reporting directly to the Head of Security, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our technology stack. Strong experience with Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and Unifi networks is a must.
As the organization scales, you will be responsible for hiring and managing an IT team to support Voltage Park's evolving IT needs.
Key Responsibilities
- System Administration : Manage and optimize our Google Workspace, including user management, security configurations, and integration with other tools.
- Identity and Access Management : Administer JumpCloud for identity and access management, ensuring secure and efficient user provisioning and compliance with security standards.
- Network Management : Oversee our office network infrastructure, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting it to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- IT Operations & Support : Act as the primary point of contact for IT support, providing hands-on assistance and technical troubleshooting as needed.
- Cybersecurity Compliance : Work closely with the Head of Security to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols, overseeing endpoint security, network protections, and best practices.
- Project Management : Lead IT projects, from system upgrades to deploying new technology, managing project timelines, budgets, and successful implementations.
- Policy Enforcement : Enforce IT policies and procedures, including our acceptable use, data security, and device management policies.
- Strategic Planning and Budgeting : Develop the IT budget, forecast technology needs, and align the IT strategy with Voltage Park's needs.
