What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Engineer position at Voltage Park Inc?
Voltage Park is building a machine learning cloud infrastructure business from the ground up. As part of this effort, we're looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our small team, who will resolve technical issues for our customers. This role is ideal for an experienced support professional who is looking to develop professionally in Technical Support, Systems Reliability Engineering, or even Solutions Engineering.
We are only hiring for this role in the San Francisco, CA area. We are not able to provide sponsorship for this position. Some travel to our data centers and company offsites will be required.
What You'll Do
- Solve escalated technical issues with customers via email and the occasional video call
- Collaborate closely with Success, Product, Engineering and other teams to resolve issues for our customers
- Work with Voltage Park product and engineering to develop content and features that empower Voltage Park customers to resolve their own issues
- Identify and implement improvements to the Voltage Park customer experience
- Juggle multiple responsibilities across different support functions
- Manage high-impact cross-functional projects
- Be on-call for urgent system incidents
