Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, learn industry standards, and develop skills necessary for a successful career in electrical work.
Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Wiring in new construction, assisting with service calls.
- Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks.
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct tests using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues.
- Must have experience in remodels and new construction
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical training program is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts, including schematics, NEC regulations, and safety practices.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
- Ability to work in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Strong willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take on new challenges.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
- Previous experience or coursework related to industrial electrician duties is advantageous but not mandatory.
