Responsibilities

- Manage shift schedules and staffing levels to maintain optimal patient care.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to nursing practices and patient care.
- Ensure accurate medical records are maintained and oversee the MDS (Minimum Data Set) process for Medicare compliance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and improve service delivery.
- Conduct regular training sessions for nursing staff on best practices and new protocols.
- Monitor patient care activities to ensure adherence to established standards and protocols.
Experience
- Current nursing license with significant experience in nurse management or leadership roles.
- Proven experience in acute care settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical records management and Medicare regulations.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team development and shift management.
- Ability to implement effective systems for quality assurance in patient care delivery.
