Nursing Assistant Job Description
Position : LNA | T-LNA
Location : 2 Blackberry Ln, Bennington, VT 05201
Shift : 2:45pm - 11:15pm
Contract : 14 weeks
Pay Range : $23/hr - $30/hr
(Pay Varies for local and Traveler)
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Help patients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
- Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection during patient care procedures.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to provide high-quality care in various environments, including ICU and Level II Trauma Centers.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities or memory care needs by providing individualized attention and assistance.
- Engage with children in a caring manner when providing support in pediatric settings.
- Utilize Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed to assist patients effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of LNA experience
- Current LNA License for the state of VT
- Active BLS Certificate
