Overview
Position : RN CCU - Travel
Location : 100 Madison Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960
Shift : 7am - 7pm
Contract : 13 weeks
Pay Range : $75/hr - $80/hr
TRAVELER ONLY (Above 50 miles)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and laboratory results, to determine necessary interventions.
- Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities using electronic health records systems such as Cerner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in critical care nursing.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 year of RN CCU experience in hospital setting
- Current RN License for the state of NJ or Compact
- Active BLS & ACLS Certificate
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
