Job Title - RN endoscopy
Location - Cincinnati, OH
Shift - 8 hour Days Monday-Friday Call ( based on a 4-week schedule, 2-3 Mon-Fri calls, 6-8 late shifts. Weekend call is every 5th weekend.)
Pay - $65-$70/hr
Contract - 13 weeks
Required: 1-2 years Endoscopy experience
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a strong medical background to provide exceptional services in the endoscopy unit.
## Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
- Provide direct patient care during endoscopy procedures
- Administer medications and IVs as needed
- Assist with ostomy care and management
- Conduct medical documentation accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions
## Experience
- Prior minimum 2 years of experience in endoscopy or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in performing spinal taps, IV insertions, and patient assessments
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with home care practices is a plus
