Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals and long-term care facilities. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical procedures, patient management, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Perform specialized procedures such as gastric lavage and ostomy care as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in case management to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist in emergency medicine situations, providing critical support in high-pressure environments such as the PICU.
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures for laboratory testing and diagnostics.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in hospital settings or long-term care preferred.
- Proficiency in medical systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of case management principles is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
