Job Overview
Position : RN PCU/Tele
Location : 97 West Pkwy, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444
Shift : 7pm - 7am
Contract : 13 weeks
Duties
- Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, interpreting telemetry data to identify potential complications.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Provide direct patient care, including performing gastric lavage and administering injections as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct medical imaging procedures as required, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing basic life support skills to stabilize patients when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience of Cardiac/Telemetry
- 1-2 years in Acute Care
- Basic dysrhythmia experience required
- Current RN License for the state of NJ or Compact
- Active BLS Certificate

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
