Duties

- Perform tube feeding and assist with aliment needs for patients requiring nutritional support.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Assist in case management by coordinating patient care plans and follow-up services.
- Provide support in occupational health settings, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Deliver compassionate care to patients in hospice settings, focusing on comfort and quality of life.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with pediatrics or behavioral health practices is a plus.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role.
