Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will work closely with patients to monitor their health status, administer medications, and assist in various medical procedures.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment.
- Perform catheter care and manage other specialized nursing tasks.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks.
- Support patients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, including emergency medicine protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in infant care techniques and understanding of developmental milestones.
- Knowledgeable in sterile processing practices to maintain a safe environment.
- Familiarity with anatomy knowledge relevant to patient assessments and interventions.
- Experience in catheter care procedures for various patient needs.
- Ability to administer inhalation therapies effectively.
