Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Perform catheterization and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Document patient care accurately in medical records using appropriate medical terminology.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and wellness strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures in all patient interactions.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in nursing home or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus.
- Experience in infant care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
- Proficiency in catheterization techniques and understanding of relevant systems is essential.
