Key Responsibilities:
Assembling Cabinets: Following instructions, blueprints, and specifications to assemble cabinets from various components like doors, drawers, shelves, and frames.
Using Tools and Equipment: Utilizing hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, sanders, staplers, and glue guns, to assemble and finish cabinets.
Assembly: Installing hardware like hinges, handles, drawer slides, and applying finishes like paint, or laminate to cabinets.
Quality Control: Inspecting finished cabinets for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Maintaining Work Area: Keeping the workspace organized and clean, ensuring proper storage of tools and materials.
Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to safety guidelines and using personal protective equipment (PPE) while operating machinery and handling materials.
Typical Work Environment:
Manufacturing or warehouse setting, where the assembler operates tools and machinery.
Potential exposure to fumes from paint, stain, or glue, requiring proper ventilation and safety measures.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE:
Our Cabinet Assemblers work on new build processes. This position is key when ensuring the final interior of the modular unit is exactly to client specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reading and understanding provided plan drawings.
Taking accurate measurements and calculating the size and amount of material required.
Maintain an overall focus on quality fit and finish.
Assembling cabinets from panels and finish filing.
Build all cabinetry in new modular units.
Complete all other related tasks as assigned.
Housekeeping and other shop-related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
Dexterity and Precision: Ability to handle small parts, use tools accurately, and create precise cuts and measurements.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring the accuracy of assembly and adherence to quality standards.
Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving issues during the assembly process.

TOP SKILLS:
Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop in shop settings for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in wood working, cabinetry or carpentry
