Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead our organization in providing exceptional Crisis services in the behavioral health sector. This role requires effective relationship management and the ability to oversee various administrative functions while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Duties
- Oversight of services and facility at Walk-in/Crisis center.
- Recruit, train, and supervise Crisis staff for all south mobile and walk-in center.
- Conduct staff meetings monthly and as necessary.
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision of Walk-in/Crisis center staff.
- Provide data as necessary for monthly reports.
- Coordinate referral services with CSU, outpatient, etc.
- Work with CSU RN supervisor to coordinate security services w/ on-site security supervisor.
- Assist in development of goals and objectives for the crisis system.
- Provide clinical assessment services.
- Monitor staff documentation and timely completion of WIC logs.
- Maintain the program in accordance with all licensure and other regulatory bodies, rules and standards.
- Ensure 24/7 staff coverage with monthly schedule.
- Process timesheets, mileage and extra pay for supervised staff.
- Provide clinical supervision in addition to backing up clinical review staff & CON interviews for all 29 counties (on-call including some nights and weekends).
- Coordinate with Sr. Director of Crisis Services and VP of 24/7 operations on any additional reports needed to track flow of business and peak hours.
- Work closely w/ Sr. Director or Crisis Services to meet community needs (i.e. mtgs, presentations, community outreach, etc.).
- Promote positive relationships and communication with community partners, hospitals, law enforcement, jails, etc.
- Coordinate in-services / staff trainings such as CPR, TO and maintain logs/documentation.
- Lead weekly clinical supervision for crisis services staff as needed
- Peer review monitor
- Train / assist with training Crisis Staff
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Clinical Studies, Social Work or related field.
- License required and credentials to be Mandatory Prescreening Agent.
- Strong clinical background.
- Experience in budgeting and knowledge of management information systems is preferred.
- Administrative experience managing a mental health program is preferred.
