Volunteer Behavioral Healthcare is now seeking an enthusiastic Lead Crisis Coordinator, in the Rutherford Co area.
Pay range: 58K, 60K, 62K, depending on experience.
Education/Experience:
Must have a master's degree in the clinical field (social work, counseling or psychology) with an appropriate clinical license. Completion of state training for Mandatory Pre-screening to provide interviews for Certificate of Need, as appropriate. Able to maintain a courteous, diplomatic, and helpful orientation. Above average assessment skills, particularly for suicidal potential and potential to harm others. Able to use good judgment and function well in pressure situations. Knowledgeable of commitment procedures. Knowledgeable of resources. Timely, accurate and thorough documentation of client records as well as work activities. Must maintain certification in CPR and First Aid required. Certification must be completed with first 30 days of employment. Company will provide training.
EXEMPLARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide clinical review, MPA screening, consultation and supervision to crisis staff during shift.
Oversight of Walk-in Center during scheduled shift, ensuring clients are served timely, problem solving with staff/security and assist with staffing concerns.
Function as a Supervisor during your working shift.
Liaison between CSU, SUTR, Crisis Call Center, VBH departments or external partners during shift.
Assist with Intakes and Admissions as needed.
Provide crisis assessment, counseling, linkage and other services to persons in a mental health crisis to include substance use disorders when needed.
Work face-to-face with consumers in assisting them in the resolution of their crisis and providing intervention and referrals in the least restrictive environment as needed.
Assist with missing crisis face to face assessment corrections.
Knowledge of computer skills to be able to search and enter data in the electronic record system.
Complete all data entry according to quality management standards and procedures.
Assist with crisis follow up phone calls and document appropriately.
Participate in staff meetings, training and supervisory sessions as required.
Correct missing face to face reports.
Assist with training new crisis clinicians when applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
