Home Care LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Qualifications:
- Associate degree (minimum requirement)
- Current professional license to work in Tennessee
- Current drivers license
- Dependable transportation with at least liability insurance
- CPR (can be obtained/renewed with hiring)
- Willingness to work in home environments of varying standards of living
- Ability to communicate with elderly and variations of mental acuity
- Ability to think critically and make sound decisions PRN
- Respect patients and their families, maintain privacy and HIPPA requirements

A qualified Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse administers skilled nursing care to patients in their place of residence. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Services are furnished in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
