What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Private Duty Supervisor position at Volunteer Home Care?
RN Private Duty - Supervision of patient care of long term skilled and non-skilled adult and pediatric patients.
- The successful Private Duty RN will perform admission and periodic assessments, as well as CNA and LPN supervisory visits, quality improvement activities through documentation review, and ensure the implementation of physician ordered Plans of Care.
- Supervisory visits in the following areas: Parsons, Selmer, Henderson, Lexington, Bolivar

Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:
1 year of acute care experience with 1 year prior home care experience preferred.
- Associate degree (minimum requirement)
- Current professional license to work in Tennessee
- Current drivers license
- Dependable transportation with at least liability insurance
- CPR (can be obtained/renewed with hiring)
- Willingness to work in home environments of varying standards of living
- Ability to communicate with elderly and variations of mental acuity
- Ability to think critically and make sound decisions PRN
- Respect patients and their families, maintain privacy and HIPPA requirements
