Organizational Description : The Boreal Shores Art Tour (BSAT) is a self-guided driving tour featuring individual artist studios and group artist locations throughout Eastern Manitoba.
The mission of BSAT is to showcase the work of artists in the Boreal Shores region of Eastern Manitoba and to increase opportunities for revenue for these artists. Our mandate is to increase accessibility for artists to create and sell their work.
Our vision is to support established and emerging artists in their art practice and the exhibition and sale of their work.

Description of Duties :
We are looking for a volunteer to create content to promote the Boreal Shores Art Tour and our artists. We are looking for someone who loves social media, writing, and has a passion for art! As our Social Media Volunteer, you will create engaging content that shares the beautiful art and stories from our artists, promote our Art Tour, and connect with our audience. This volunteer opportunity is open to ages 16 and older.
Skills Required :
- Working knowledge of Facebook and Instagram platforms.
- Strong writing skills.
- Ability to transform information into interesting and engaging stories for Facebook and Instagram.
- Interested in art practice and meeting and learning from the artists in our Tour.
