Skills:
- Building positive relationships with prospective and current tenants
- Overseeing the timely and successful completion of maintenance requests
- Showing properties to prospective tenants and answering relevant questions
- Overseeing all financial procedures including verifying renter income, processing monthly payments, and executing default protocols
- Collect monthly rents and delinquent accounts, including tendering late notices and following the collection process as instructed by legal counsel
- Prepare renewal offers, work with all parties to carry out renewal incentives, and fully execute the renewal process
- Maintain resident files, post rent payments, upload tenant notices and correspondence
- Assisting the Community Manager with all day-to-day operations to achieve occupancy, budget, and retention goals
- Other special projects, as assigned
Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate across digital platforms
- Exemplify excellent customer service skills for prospective and current tenants
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective time management, including prioritization of time sensitive items with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other digital platforms utilized by the Company
- 4 years of assistant property manager experience or minimally, 2-3 years leasing experience
- Leasing experience
- Experience with conflict management and de-escalating tenant situations
