To write our monthly e-newsletter to keep our readers informed about disability-related news and reports, new resources, services, products, and consultations and research they may wish to get involved in. We have a graphic design volunteer, who will format the newsletter. There is also someone who can proof-read the copy for the newsletter.
- To respond to online enquiries.
- To sign up and read e-newsletters from other disability organisations e.g. Disability Rights UK, other charities and local authorities. Other members of the DPV team will also send you items for the e-newsletter.
- To edit any news items, consultations, reports, resources, snippets, and products that may be of interest to the readers of the DPV e-newsletter.
- To write the e-newsletter and send the copy to our proof-reader.
- To send the final copy along with suggestions for photos and images to our graphic design volunteer, who will produce a draft Mailchimp e-newsletter for your approval. The graphic design volunteer will then use Mailchimp to distribute the e-newsletter and update our ‘Past Newsletters’ page on our website.
- To find consultations that Disabled People will want to take part in and that DPV will want to promote via the consultation section on our homepage.
- To let the Facebook volunteer know about any news that needs to be published on our Facebook page.
- To observe our Volunteers’ Code of Conduct.
