- The Quality Assurance Analyst applies expert-level knowledge of program regulations and policies to ensure adherence to funder requirements while emphasizing positive client experience. Job duties include evaluating and analyzing program data to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses, schedule compliance monitoring visits of program sites ensuring compliance and financial spenddown, and training direct-service personnel. In order to carry out their duties, it is expected that the Quality Assurance Analyst will obtain and maintain expertise in the application of the service modalities to seniors, and other community members, as well as program regulations.
- Ensures that the participant’s voice is heard, and their ideas play a prominent role in programming.
- Determines training and technical needs of program staff, coordinates training, serves as a resource for analyzing and solving problems related to programs. Works to stay abreast of current issues and theories within the relevant fields for programs that the QA analyst works with. This may include homeless, seniors, people with disabilities, volunteers and community members.
- Assists management in making the programmatic and reporting changes needed to carry out expected service delivery models. Plans, in conjunction with program management, how and when to train staff on new models and changes within programs.
- Conducts regular monitoring visits of VOAC and community partner/sub-grantee program sites in order to ensure compliance to programmatic regulations and best practice standards.
- Provides data regarding deficiencies identified during monitoring visits to the Principal Analyst of Training and Quality Assurance for quality improvement plans.
- Compiles, analyzes, and communicates program data and outcomes on a regular basis in order to inform program development and management.
- Attends orientations, trainings, education programs, staff meetings, community meetings, conferences and workshops to meet the needs of the position.
- Performs duties in a professional manner, maintains the confidentiality of all information and participates effectively within and across teams.
- Support team members as needed by delivering trainings that improve data collection efficiency and data quality.
- Maintain client confidentiality and perform job responsibilities in accordance with the Social Work Code of Ethics.
- Attend all required meetings, both within Volunteers of America and in the community.

- Passion for process improvement, mentorship, education, human services, smart administration and the delicate practice of linking each of these domains to one another in policy, practice, and process.
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, education, human services, social
- Two years’ experience in human service-related field, including knowledge of relevant service systems.
- Demonstrable expertise in data analysis using Microsoft Excel, Serve Tracker, SUDS and other funder reporting software.
- Must complete agency and program credentialing within 12 weeks of hire and maintain credentialing standards thereafter.
- Must possess a Colorado driver’s license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and state-mandated automobile insurance
- Four years’ experience in human service-related field.
- Two years of training experience. Experience working within related human service programs preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing and implementation.
- Ability to respectfully and professionally serve individuals hailing from diverse backgrounds, cultures, ideologies, and religions.
- Ability to work and thrive within a diverse, multicultural team environment.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to manage time effectively to comply with audit schedule or urgent data regulation
- Ability to understand the different system and guidelines, and to be flexible based on the difference
- Ability to apply appropriate self-care in the face of often difficult and/or traumatic situations which commonly present while working with persons in need of services.
