Job Summary
The Program Manager oversees the overall supervision of Program Assistants and other assigned staff, including recruitment, interviewing, training, evaluating, and scheduling. This role is responsible for the on-going security and safety of the facility, accountability for the resident population, and supervising the orientation of all new residents.
Scope of Duties:
- Supervise assigned staff, including performance evaluations and regular supervisory sessions.
- Assist in conducting on-site training and staff development programs.
- Assess and schedule training needs of assigned staff and ensure attendance at scheduled training.
- Create staff coverage schedules and arrange for emergency coverage when necessary.
- Respond to pages and calls from program staff.
- Provide emergency coverage as needed.
- Coordinate community service projects as assigned.
- Assess operational needs of the facility and solicit competitive bids for equipment.
- Maintain fire safety compliance.
- Collaborate with outside agencies to meet facility needs with Director's approval.
- Ensure facility cleanliness.
- Schedule and conduct regular facility inspections.
- Conduct contraband searches under Director's supervision.
- Document facility maintenance and life safety equipment needs.
- Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll information for assigned staff.
- Oversee facility security and monitor sign-in/out procedures.
- Manage bed arrangements for new residents and those requesting transfer.
- Ensure adequate meals are available for clients.
- Oversee medication monitoring and documentation for clients.
- Provide support to the Director.
- Facilitate House Meetings.
- Verify client pass site regulations and document compliance.
- Conduct drug and alcohol screens as directed and report results.
- Document fees and deposits received from residents.
- Notify Food Service of meal counts and receive food deliveries.
- Interact professionally with clients, staff, and community members.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with administrative policies.
- Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and training sessions.
