The Young Adult Shelter (YAS) provides a haven for young adults aged 18-24, open 365 days a year. We offer essential life-changing programs, including medical care, meals, and critical resources to support our community's most vulnerable young people. We're dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment that reflects the variety of backgrounds and experiences of those we serve . We are hiring Part-Time, Shelter Support Staff working the 5pm to 9pm shift

Key Responsibilities :
- Engage with young adults with respect and empathy, understanding their unique circumstances.
- Manage reception duties, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct intake assessments and document essential client information.
- Support the distribution of hygiene products and other necessities.
- Assist in meal preparation and maintain cleanliness within the shelter.
- Enforce shelter rules while providing a safe and supportive environment.
- Participate in team meetings and training to enhance your skills
