Position: Social Worker, LMSW/LMHC - PT
We seek a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker to provide clinical support to individuals enrolled in our Career Access Program. The Clinician will play a critical role in supporting participants' emotional well-being, addressing mental health concerns, and ensuring their success in the program. The ideal candidate will have experience in counseling, mental health support, and working with individuals with disabilities.
Career Access program is a community outreach initiative designed to offer vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities.
Location: Bronx, NY 10455
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social work or Mental Health Counseling,
Currently licensed (LMHC or LMSW).
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing clinical counseling services, with a preference for experience in vocational rehabilitation or working with individuals with disabilities.
Employment Coordinator Principal Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to clients in the Career Access Program.
Assess and address mental health concerns that may impact the client’s ability to engage in vocational training and rehabilitation.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to support clients preferred.
Work closely with the certified rehabilitation counselor, economic empowerment specialists, and other program staff to ensure holistic client support.
Perform other related duties as required.
